Kiwi Lane DT Doodle

Happy Memorial Day!!  I’m excited to share my DT Doodle with you…  Kiwi Lane has partnered with Technique Tuesday for the Month of May.  You could probably say that I am not the best with stamps but I try hard. I forgot that I actually like to use them.  I just need to pull them out more.  I found that I have my stash of them.  But shhhh don’t tell my husband he never sees them so he don’t know.   This was the first time I have used the Technique Tuesday stamps but I found that they were easy to use and fun.

My layout started like this..

I am not very good at laying it all out to do my layout I do this and that so doing it like this was a little different but I liked it.

The final layout would look like this.

To make this layout you will need:

Kiwi Lane Design Templates Used:   Adventure 1 & 2, Playtime 3 & 4, Aspen Court 2A, 2B & 1B                                  Scissors, Distress Ink, Pens, pencil, stickles, glimmer mist, glossy accents, Technique Tuesday Stamps, other stamps, tiny stapler, ric rac, brads, circle punch, distresser.

Now with all you extra paper lets make a card or a few but here is one….

Kiwi Lane May Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hopping everyone!  Welcome to my blog (the final stop) on the Kiwi Lane blog hop!  You should have gotten here from  Erin Schultz blog.  If you didn’t get here from there and you want to go along the hop head on over to Kiwi Lane to start!

In this layout I used pictures of my parents I thought were so cute.  When I was little we actually lived on a Farm and these pictures that were taken in 2011 remind me of what they probably were like back then.  Now they live in the city but they are still Farmers at heart.

For my layout I used Kiwi Lane Design Templates: Rings, Accents, Scallops & Brackets.  I also used Lily Bee Design Lovely Line and Technique Tuesday Clear Stamps: Cherish.

I used the Accent Template to make the layered flower here.  I also used the i-top brad maker to make the matching brad in the middle.

I layered the Flower here and also used the brad maker.  I added some random flowers to make the piece complete.

Of course you always need to make a card out of the left over pieces.

A Day with HANK

Today Kamie brought home HANK (stuffed horse) she is always so excited about HANK she reads to this horse she talks to it. She even makes it a bed. We always have to take a picture of her and HANK today she was reading to the horse.  TOO CUTE…
